AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into by and between the City of Ashland, hereinafter known as
the CITY and Oak Knoll Meadows, Inc., an Oregon Corporation, hereinafter known as OAK KNOLL.
WITNESSETH
WHEREAS, to provide an adequate water supply to Oak Knoll Meadows, Phase III and
subsequent phases, it will be necessary to extend a water main from its existing point of termination at
Siskiyou Boulevard near Mistletoe Road to connect to the Oak Knoll Meadows water system at Crowson
Road and Oak Knoll Drive.
WHEREAS, it has been determined that to better serve the neighboring water users, it will be
necessary to construct the above referenced water as a 12-inch main. It shall be the responsibility of
Oak Knoll to install said 12-inch water main in accordance with the plans and specifications as prepared
by John Jensen, P.E., currently on file in the City Engineering Office. Said construction shall be subject
to approval by the City of Ashland, Department of Public Works, Oregon State Highway Division and
Jackson County Department of Public Works.
Upon completion of the 12-inch water linb by Oak Knoll, or by its approved contractor, and upon
final approval of the construction by the City, the City shall pay to Oak Knoll, the sum of twenty eight
thousand six hundred fifty dollars ($28,650), which sum shall be full and complete compensation for the
difference in cost between installing an 8-inch water line and a 12-inch water line.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have hereunto set their hand the day and year first
hereinabove written:
