WARRANTY DEED
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That HAROLD T. GENTRY and LORENE M. GENTRY and HAROLD
A. SHEFFIELD and BETTY L. SHEFFIELD , hereinafter called the Grantor,
for the consideration hereinafter stated, to Grantor paid by CITY OF ASHLAND a municipal corporation _

the said Grantee and Grantee's heirs, successors and assigns, that certain real property, with the tenements, hereditaments
and appurtenances thereunto belonging or appertaining, situated in the County of JACKSON

Commencing at a 2" iron pipe situated at the quarter corner common
to Sections 5 and 8, Township 39 South, Range 1 East of the
Willamette Meridian in Jackson County, Oregon, thence South 00o13'
53" East, 1333.07 feet to a 5/8" iron rod for the true point of
beginning; thence South 00o13'53'' East along that boundary line by
Agreement recorded as Instrument No. 78-09396, Official Records
of Jackson County, Oregon, 532.67 feet to a 5/8" iron rod; thence
South 39o16'34'' West, 158.61 feet to a 5/8" iron rod situated in the
southerly boundary line of the north half of the Southwest Quarter
of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 8; thence leaving said
Boundary Line, South 89°58'10'' West, along the last hereinabove
referred to Southerly boundary line, 67.93 feet to a 5/8" iron rod
situated at the Southwest corner of the north half of the South-
west Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 8; thence ;
South 89°55'41'' West along the Southerly boundary line of the
north half of the south half of the Northwest Quarter of said
Section 8, a distance of 831.15 feet to a 5/8" iron rod situated
at the southerly end of that boundary line by Agreement re-
corded as Instrument No. 78-09397, said Official Records; thence
leaving the southerly boundary line as last hereinabove referred
to, North 00°13'53'' West along that boundary line by Agreement, as
last hereinabove referred to, 658.94 feet to a 5/8" iron rod;
thence leaving said Boundary Line, South 89o51'44'' East, 1000.00
feet to the true point of beginning.

~ ~ ADDENDUM TO AGREEMENT
This is an addendum to an Agreemen. t made and entered into the
23rd day of September, 1986, by and between CITY OF ASHLAND, a municipal
corporation in the State of Oregon, hereinafter referred to as "Ashland",
and GEORGE A. HARSHMAN, hereinafter referred to as Ha~nm~n , the FIRST
INTERSTATE BANK OF OREGON, N.A., as Trustee for Stanley W. Wilt, lbo
Virginia Wilt Trust, hereinafter referred to as "Bank", HAF. OLD T. GENTRY
and LORENE M. GENTRY, husband and wife, hereinafter referred to as "Gentry",
and HAROLD A. SHEFFIELD and BETTY L. SHEFFIELD, husband and wife, herein-
after referred to as "Sheffield".
Gentry and Sheffield dc hereby transfer to Ashlnnd their rights
under an Agreement dated September 1, 1964, wherein W. H. K:EEBONE was
the Seller, and S~ B. DAVIS, SIDNEY E. AiNSWORTH, CHRi:~=~N P. HALD and
ROEERT A. BOYER were the Purchasers, with Gentry and Sheffield warrant-
ing and guaranteeing that they have, and are hereby are, transferring to
the City of Ashland a right to the public easement as described on page
7 of said Agreement. Furthest, Gentry and Sheffield agree to do all things
necessary in the future to :~erfect that right so that Ashland may con-
st?act such a street, which shall include, but not be limited to, their
r::u::sting and being parties; ~laintiff or defendant in any necessary
liti:~ation; however, with the cost of the litigation and the cost of
pe'~fecting the right to be at %he expense of Ashland.
