THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~ ay of
j/~-~_t~.~/t~, 1986, between the CITY OF ASHLAND, a municipal corporation
of the State of Oregon, hereinafter referred to as "Ashland", and the
CITY OF TALENT, hereinafter referred to as "Talent".
RECITALS:
WITNESSETH:
1. Ashland is authorized and approved by the State of Oregon
to do the inspection and maintenance of vehicles normally referred to as
"I . & M."
2. Talent desires to have the inspection performed in Ashland
and not have the inconvenience and expense of taking its vehicles to
Medford.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing Recitals,
the truth of which is hereby acknowledged, and of the mutual covenants
contained herein, it is agreed by and between the parties hereto as
follows:
1. Ashland will do the inspection and maintenance in accord
with Oregon State Law, of Talent's vehicles.
2. Ashland will charge, and Talent will pay, the same fee as
scheduled for inspection and maintenance in Medford, which is now
presently SEVEN DOLLARS ($7.00) per vehicle, but will change as said fee
schedule does change.
3. The time of the inspection will be as mutually agreed.
4. Either party to this Agreement may cancel it upon thirty
(30) days written notice to the other.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the undersigned have hereunto set their
hands and seals as of the day and year first above written.
