EASEMENT
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That we, C.W. Alleman, James L. Alleman and Alice Alleman
do hereby grant an Easement unto the CITY OF ASHLAND, a Municipal
Corporation of the State of Oregon, for and in consideration of $1.00
which Easement is for the installation and maintenance of Public Utilities
and which Easement is over the property situated in Jackson County, Oregon
described as follows, to-wit:
See Exhibit 'A' attached hereto, incorporated herein and
thereby made a part hereof.

The Grantors warrant that they are the owners of said real
property free and clear of all liens and encumbrances whatsoever, except
those of record on the below date.
NOTE:
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Grantors have hereunto set their hands

PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT
An easement for the purpose of installing and maintaining Telephone, Cable T.V.,
Sanitary Sewer and Electrical lines over, across and through a strip of land variable
in width and being more fully descirbed as follows:
Commencing at a found sandstone monument situated at the quarter section corner common
to Sections 8 and 9, Township 39 South, Range 1 East of the Willamette Base and Meridian,
Jackson County, Oregon; thence South 00o06'52'' East along the section line common to said
sections, 1317.94 feet to the Northeast corner of the South half of the Southeast quarter
of Section 8; thence leaving said section line, South 89°56'02'' West, 292.75 feet to a
found 5/8 inch iron rod situated in the Westerly right of way line of Granite Street;
thence leaving said section line South 04°43'39'' East along said Westerly right of way
line, 166.635 feet to a found 5/8 inch iron rod; thence South 25°26'13'' East along said
right of way line, 137.145 feet to a found 5/8 inch iron rod situated at the Southeast
corner of Parcel No. 2, as set forth on that Minor Land Partition filed for record the
25th day of June, 1980 and recorded in Volume 3, Page 58 of "Minor Land Partitions" in
Jackson County, Oregon and being the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence leaving said Westerly
right of way line, South 76o10'47'' West along the Southerly boundary line of said Parcel
No. 2, 188.545 feet to a found 5/8 inch iron rod situated at the Southwesterly corner
thereof and being common to the Northeasterly boundary line of Parcel No. 2 of that Major
Land Partition filed for record the 7th day of August, 1986 and recorded in Volume 2 at
Page 81 of "Major Land Partitions" in Jackson County, Oregon; thence North 13°49'13'' West
along the boundary line common to both tracts or parcels of land designated as Parcel No.
2, 4.97 feet to a found 3/4 inch galvanized iron pipe situated at the Northeast corner of
Parcel No. 2 of that Major Land Partition as hereinabove set forth; thence South 89o56'02''
West along the Northerly boundary line of Parcel No. 2 of said Major Land Partition,
36.035 feet to a point in the Southwesterly right of way line of a 10 foot public utility
easement, as set forth on that Major Land Partition as hereinabove referred to; thence
leaving said Northerly boundary line, North 13°49'13" West along the Northerly extension
of the Westerly right of way line of said 10 foot public utility easement, 1.465 feet;
thence North 76010'47'' East, 15.0 feet Northwesterly thereof, when measured normal
therefrom, the Southeasterly boundary line of Parcel No. 2 of that Minor Land Partition
filed for record the 25th day of June, 1980 and recorded in Volume 3, Page 58 of "Minor
Land Partitions" in Jackson County, Oregon, 220.46 feet to a point in the Southwesterly
right of way line of Granite Street; thence South 25°26'13'' East along said right of
way line, 15.315 feet to the point of beginning.
