KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That James N. Campbell
does hereby grant an Easement
unto the CITY OF ASHLAND, a Municipal corporation of the State of Oregon,
for and in consideration of One dollar ($1.00)
which Easement .is for installation and maintenance of underground --
public utility lines including but not limited to electrical lines;
and which Easement is over the property situated in Jackson County, Oregon,
described as follows, to-wit:
A strip or parcel of land being the Northwesterly 10.00 feet of
that parcel of land described in instrument number 83-07836 of the
deed records of Jackson County, Oregon; lying 5.00 feet on each
side of the following described center line:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of Donation Land Claim Number 38,
Township 39 South, Range 1 East of the Willamette Meridian,
Jackson County, Oregon; thence North 636.05 feet and East 654.93
feet to a point on the Southwesterly right of way line of State
Highway No. 99, for the True Point of Beginning, thence South 21°
56'53" West, 168,96 feet to the terminus of this easement, the
side lines of which shall be shortened and/or extended to close
upon the boundary lines of said parcel.

The Grantor warrants that he is the owner of said real property free
and clear of all liens and encumbrances whatsoever, except those of record
on the below date.
