KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That Jack Elam and biargaret Jennison ,
do hereby grant an Easement. unto the CITY OF ASHLANDi. a Municipal corporation
of the State of Oregon, .for and in consideration of one dollar ($1.00)
which Easement is for installation and maintenance
of underground public utility lines
and which Easement is over the property situated in Jackson County, Oregon,
described as follows, to-Wit:
A strip or parcel of land 10.00 feet in width lying 5..00 feet on each
side of the following described center line:
Commencing at the East 1/16 corner common to sections 15 and 22,
Township 39 South, Range 1 East of the Willamette Meridian, Jackson County,
Oregon monumented by a 5/8 inch iron pin; thence North 00o00'52'' West,
717.76 feet to a point on the West line of parcel number 2 as shown on that
major land partition filed, for record on the 29th day of February 1984 and
recorded in Volume 2, page 58 of "Major Land Partitions" of Jackson County,
Oregon for the True Point of Beginning; thence South 89057'39'' East, 270.50
feet; thence North 00°02'21'' East, 12.50 feet for the terminus of this
easement, the West sidelines of said easement shall be shortened and/or.
extended to close upon the West boundary line of said parcel and the side
lines at the terminus of said easement shall be shortened and/or extended to
close upon the existing public utility easement.
The Grantors warrant that they are the owners of said real
property free and'clear of all liens and encumbrances whatsoever, except
those of record on the below date.
