(For Street Purposes)
For and in consideration of the su~ of ONE DOLLAR ($1.00) and
other good and valuable consideration, the undersigned does hereby
sell, transfer and convey unto the CITY OF ASHLAND, a municipal
corporation of the State of Oregon for street purposes, the real
property situated in said City of Ashland, County of Jackson, State
of Oregon, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the quarter corner common to Sections 5 and 8,
Township 39 South, Range 1 East of the Willamette Meridian,
Jackson County, Oregon; thence along the section line common to
said sections, North 89055'55'' West, 133.30 feet (deed record
West, 134 feet) to the intersection of the Westerly right of
way line of Westwood Street as described in Volume 236, page
368 of the deed records of Jackson County, Oregon, thence along
said right of way line South, 16.22 feet (deed record 17 feet);
thence South 45° West, 10.28 feet, thence leaving said right of
way South 89o55'55'' East, 164.28 feet, thence North 00o30'30''
West, 23.42 feet to the section line common to said sections;
thence along said line North 89o43'23'' West, 23.50 feet to the
point of beginning. Containing 3712.71 square feet more or less.
The undersigned hereby warrants that said real property is free
of restrictions and encumbrances.
This instrument will not allow use of the property described in
this instrument in violation of applicable land use laws and
regulations. Before signing or accepting this instrument, the person
acquiring fee title to the property should check with the appropriate
city or county planning department to verify approved uses.
