ADDENDUM TO AGREEMENT
BETWEEN
THE CITY OF ASHLAND, OREGON
AND
LOCAL UNION NO. 659
INTERNATIONAL BROTRERHOOD OF ELECTRICAL WORKERS
CLERICAL/TECHNICAL UNIT
WHEREAS, there presently exists an Agreement between
the parties effeCtive July 1, 1984, through June 30,
1987, covering wages, hours and working conditions, and
WHEREAS, the existing Agreement provides in APPENDIX "B"
for revisions to the wage rates July 1, 1985 and July 1,
1986. In accordance with those provisions and individual
position adjustments agreed to by the parties, the wage
rates for~each classification as of July 1, 1985, are as
follows:

Certification; and 7.5% for Trainee Certification.
2To be increased by 2.5% for either L.S.I.T. or E.I.T. Certifica-
tion or 5% for R.L.S.
3plus $50.00 a month when assigned payroll responsibilities.
4To be increased by 2.5% for Class C Building Inspector Certifica-
tion.
NOTE: During anytime tha6 the City pays the employees contribution
io PERS as required by 0RS'237.071, six percent (6%) will be added
to the wage rates shown O'n~the attached schedule for the purpose of
salary comparisons and computing inequity adjustments. Ail rates
are hourly rates. Monthly rates are for information purposes only.
A. Employees assigned to established special projects, for extended
periods of time, which require substantially increased responsibi-
lities and duties, compared to their normal assignment and job
description, shall receive additional compensation. At the time of
the assignment the employee and his/her supervisor shall discuss
the matter of additional compensation.
Effective JuIy 1, 1986:
1) March 1985 to March 1986 CPI-W (average of Portland and
National) increase - minus health benefits premium increase -
with guaranteed minimum salary increase of 2% and maximum
package increase of 6%.
2) Individual position adjustments as agreed to by parties.
C. Effective September 1, 1986 Class C Building Inspector certifi-
cation shal~become a job requirement for the position of Housing
and Redevelopment Specialist. The employee presently in this posi-
tion must be certified by this date as a condition of continued
employment. New employees must have become certified within 12
months of their date of hire.

INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF ELECTRICAL WORKERS
CLERICAL/TECHNICAL UNIT
WHEREAS, there presently exists an Agreement between
the parties effective July 1, 1984, through June 30,
1987, covering wages, hours and working conditions, and
WHEREAS, the existing Agreement provides in APPENDIX "B"
for revisions to the wage rates July 1, 1985 and July 1,
1986. In accordance with those provisions and individual
position adjustments agreed to by the parties, the wage
rates for each classification as of July 1, 1985, are as
follows:
