This agreement is hereby entered into this ~--~day of January,
1983, by and between the CITY OF ASHLAND, a municipal corporation
of the State of Oregon hereinafter called "City" and
BERNARD Jo KRUG, hereinafter called "Krug", both of whom under-
stand as follows:
RECITALS
City desires to employ the services of Krug as an Electric Utility
Consultant to provide information and assistance to the City from
time to time. Krug consents to accept such employment under the
terms set forth herein.
AGREEMENT
1. General. City hereby engages Krug as an Electric Utility
Consultant. Krug shall provide such service at times and for
purposes mutually agreed upon under the supervision of the City
Administrator.
2. Compensation. City agrees to pay Krug at the rate of $25.00
per hour for all hours worked on mutually agreed upon projects.
City agrees to pay a minimum of one (1) hour for each work request.
City also agrees to pay Health insurance for Krug on the following
basis:

The Health Plan will be Blue Cross Plan IV or equivalent.
The City will pay the monthly cost of such plan~to the
insurance company, and Krug will reimburse monthly to the
City the difference between cost of the above policy and
Blue Cross Medichec Plan.
Krug agrees to submit statements of amounts due on a monthly
basis, and City will pay the same within ten (10) days following

receipt.
3. Termination. This agreement may be terminated by either
party by providing fifteen (15) days advance written notice.
4. Term. This agreement shall become effective upon its
execution by the City Administrator and acceptance by Krug, and
shall continue until termination by either party.
