This agreement entered into this,~--z~ day of July, 1983,
by and between the CITY OF ASHLAND hereinafter called the
"City" and the ASHLAND PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION, herein-
after called "Commission", both of whom understand as follows:
RECITALS
City desires to have Commission continue to administer the
use and maintenance of the City-owned building at Winburn Way;
and
Commission has agreed to accept said functions, subject to
the terms set forth hereino
AGREEMENT
1. ~General. Citv hereby contracts with the Commission to
provide building management for the City-owned building at
59 Winburn Way, which shall include scheduling of events, col-
lecting building rental fees and revenues, janitorial services,
and such building repairs as mutually agreed upon°
2. Compensati~on. City agrees to compensate the Commission
for janitorial services at the rate of $8.35 per hour. Commiss-
ion agrees to remit monthly, all rental fees and revenues derived
from use of the building. City also agrees to reimburse the
Commission for the expense of all repairs mutually agreed upon
by the parties.
3. Utilities. City agrees to pay all utilities associated
with the ooeration of the building.
4o Office Area. The area previously used by the Parks &
Recreation staff shall not be included in this agreement.
5. Term° This agreement shall become effective on July 1,
1983, and shall continue for a period of ninety (90) days ending
September 30, 1983. This agreement is renewable with the mutual
consent of both parties°
