KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That William H. Hampton and Bette D. Hampton
do hereby grant an Easement unto the CITY OF ASHLAND, a Municipal corporation
of the State of Oregon, for and in consideration of one dollar ($1.00)
which Easement is for installation and maintenance of
public utilities;
and which Easement is over the property situated in Jackson County, Oregon,
described as follows, to-wit:
Commencing at the intersection of the center line of East Main Street
in the City of Ashland with the line common to Donation Land Claim
Numbers 40 and 42, Township 39 South, Range 1 East of the Willamette
Meridian, Jackson County, Oregon monumented by a 4 inch pipe filled with
concrete with nail in a monument case; thence North 310.85 feet and
West 155.48 feet to the Southwest corner of parcel number 1 as shown on
that minor land partition filed for record on the 14th day of November,
1979 and recorded in Volume 3 page 25 of "Minor Land Partitions" in
Jackson County, Oregon for the True Point of Beginning; thence along the
Northerly right of way of an alley North 55047'27'' West, 15.00 feet;
thence leaving said right of way North 28032'03'' East, 5.00 feet; thence
South 55o47'27'' East, 15.00 feet to the Westerly boundary of said parcel;
thence South 28o32'03'' West, 5.00 feet to the point of beginning.

The Grantors warrant that they are [he owners of said real
property free and clear of all liens and encumbrances whatsoever, except
