WHEREAS, on the 21st day of ~4ay, 1968, the CITY OF ASHLAND, a
municipal corporation of the State of Oregon as Lessor and the ASHLAND
PARKS AND RECREATION COM=MISSION as Lessee entered into a Lease of a
tract of land comprising approximately sixty-six (66) acres known as
the "Lithia Springs Tract: and which is more particularly described
on Exhibit "A" hereto which is hereby incorporated herein; and
WHEREAS, the said lease was modified by the parties on the 16th
day of December, 1969; and
WHEREAS, the parties hereto now desire to extend said lease for
a further period of ten (10) years;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby acknowledged and agreed by and
between the Lessor and Lessee that the above-described lease covering
land described in Exhibit "A" hereto is hereby extended for a period of
ten (10) years starting June 1, 1988, and ending March 31, 1998; said
renewal is to be upon the same terms and conditions as set forth in said
lease and as modified as set forth above.
