HomeMy WebLinkAbout1983-054 Mutual Asst. Agmt-FireNovember 8, 1983 ram: Mayor and Council L. R. King, Fire Chief Update - Mutual Assistance Agreement Ail of the participating agencies in the current mutual assistance agreement have, because of newly formed fire protection agencies, decided to update the agreement and provide for these new agencies to join. The current agreement required that when a new agency wishes to join, the agreement has to go to each of the participating agencies for their approval; a very time consuming process. This new agreement allows the addition of newly organized agencies from time to time. The agency must first be recommended for addition by the Rogue Fire Chiefs Assoc. and be approved by the chief executive officer of each of the existing parties. Any additions are made by attachment to this new agreement. I will be attending the council meeting in case of questions regarding this agreement. LRK:mm Enclosure October 20, 1983 OFFICE, OF' I"'I !
