3. The work area during any construction or maintenance operation performed under
the permit shall be protected in accordance with current provisions of the
"Manual on Uniform Traffic ontrol Devices for Streets and Highways, U. S.
Department of Transportation".
4. If a contractor is to perform this work, prior to commencement of any work.
applicant will provide the contractor an approved copy of this permit and
appropriate General Provisions. The contractor shall have this material in
his possession while work is performed.
5. In consideration of the safety and convenience of the travelling public:
Any mud, rock or other debris deposited on the highway surface by any
means by the permittee, builder, or supplier(s), shall be immedidate~M
removed by sweeping, scraping or flushing with water. Failure to keep
the road surface clean shall be considered a violation of the permit
provisions, and also ORS 164.785.
6. Applicant, or his contractor, to contact Curt Yocham, Section Supervisor, at
482-4344 at least 3 daws prior to commencement of any work, and 24 hours
before all work is completed or equipment is removed from the work area.
