Main Ashland, OR 97520 Dear Brian: Toward the end of the year, McCaw Cablevision will expand its basic service to include four new satellite channels. In order to receive the new programming, some subscribers may elect to use an additional piece of equipment, a converter. Our company will provide this optional equipment for basic cable sub- scribers, but to offset the capital costs it will be necessary, in some instances, to charge either a small monthly rental fee or a deposit equal to the retail value of the equipment. Enclosed is an amended page two of our rate schedule currently on file with the City of Ashland, showing the charges for this optional equip- ment. We hope to announce the new services, as well as other exciting offer- ings, to McCaw Cablevision subscribers within the next month. In the meantime, should you have any questions, please call.
