do hereby grant an Easement unto the CITY OF ASHLAND, a Municipal corporation
of the State of Oregon, for and in consideration of six-hundred ninety
dollars ($690.00) which Easement is for installation and maintenance
of a water transmission line and its related appurtenances.
and which Easement is over the property situated in Jackson County, Oregon,
described as follows, to-wit:

The Grantors warrant that they are the owners of said real
property free and clear of all liens and encumbrances whatsoever, except
those of record on the below date.

EXHIBIT A
A strip or parcel of land 10.00 feet in width lying 5.00
feet on each side of the following described center line:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of the Northeast ¼ of
the Northwest ¼ of Section 16, Township 39 South, Range 1
East of the Willamette Meridian, Jackson County, Oregon,
monumented by a 1 inch square iron bar at the intersection
of Ashland and Terrace Streets; thence South 50018'00'' East,
31.20 feet to the Northwest corner of parcel number two
as shown on that minor land partition filed for record on
the 21st day of March 1979 and recorded in Volume 2 page
13 of "Minor Land Partitions" in Jackson County, Oregon;
thence along the Easterly right of way line of Terrace
Street South 00047'56'' East, 5.00 feet to the True Point
of Beginning thence North 89°50'22'' East parallel to and
5.00 feet Southerly of the North line of said parcel
number 2, when measured at right angles therefrom, a dis-
tance of 40.00 feet to the terminus of this easement.
also;
A temporary construction easement 10.00 feet in width
adjacent to the South line of the above described easement
terminating 40 feet from the East right of way line of
Terrace Street, to be used only for the initial instal-
lation of said water line and thereafter full property
rights on the area covered by the temporary construction
easement will revert back to the owner of the attached
property.
