Bernard, do hereby grant an Easement unto the City of Ashland, a Municipal corporation of the State of Oregon, for and in consideration of one dollar ($1.00) which Easement is for the installation and perpetual maintenance of one down guy for support of an existing utility pole; said down guy to be located approximately 15 feet Easterly of the Easterly right of way of Mountain Avenue; and which Easement is over the property situated in Jackson County, Oregon; described as follows, to-w/t: A tract or parcel of land situated in that portion of Lot 33 and 34, "The Galey Addition" to the City of Ashland, Jackson County, Oregon, as now recorded, and being situated in Section 16, Township 39 South, Range 1 East of the Willamette Base and Meridian and being more fully described as follows: Commencing at the section corner common to Sections 9, 10, 15 and 16, said Township and Range, said point being monumented with a 1 inch square iron bar; thence South 12044'54'' West, 1,015.57 feet to a 5/8 inch iron pin situated on the Easterly right of way of South Mountain Avenue for the True Point of Beginning; thence leaving said right of way, North 89059'45'' East, (D.R. South 89052' East) 120.0 feet to a 5/8 inch iron pin situated on the West line of Volume 485, page 200 of the Deed Records of Jackson County, Oregon; thence South 00016'49'' West (D.R. South 0°11' West) 83.12 feet to a 5/8 inch iron pin situated at the Southwest corner of said Volume and page; thence North 89059'45'' East (D.Ro South 89052' East) 37.0 feet to a 5/8 inch iron pin situated at the Southeast corner of said Volume and page; thence South 00016'49'' West (D.Ro South 0°11' West) along the West line of Volume 441, page 266 of the Deed Records of Jackson County, Oregon, 20.38 feet to the Northeast corner of Volume 557, page 473 of the Deed Records of Jackson County, Oregon; thence South 89059'45'' West (D.R. North 89052' West) along the North line of the last recited Volume and page, 157.0 feet to a 5/8 inch iron pin situated on the Easterly right of way of South Mountain Avenue; thence North 00016'49'' East (D.R. North 00°11' East) along said right of way, 103.50 feet to the point of beginning.
