AGREEMENT
for
Participation in BPA Street and Area Lighting Program
This agreement provides the City of Ashland with authorization to include
Southern Oregon State College (SOSC) in its participation in the Bonneville
Power Administration's (BPA) Street and Area Lighting Program (Contract No.
DE-MS79 81BP 90791). By participating in thi§ program, Southern Oregon State
College agrees to the following:
l) All conversions and retrofits shall be performed by SOSC or their contractor.
2)
SOSC shall submit a quarterly schedule to the City of Ashland for work they
plan to perform during federal fiscal year 1983 (October l, 1982, to
September 30, 1983).
3)
All replacement street and area lighting systems shall be hi'gh-pressure
sodium (HPS) or metal halide (MH).
4).' SOSC shall keep a record of the following information:

The number and type of conversions or retrofits;
The date and location of each conversion or retrofit;
The date of inspection of each conversion or retrofit;
Supporting documents and records necessary for verification of costs
reimbursed by BPA through the City of Ashland;
Supporting documents and records necessary to verify that the luminaires
which h'ave been converted or retrofitted to HPS or MH have been rendered
inoperable.
5)
The City of Ashland agrees to inspect the conversions or retrofits upon
completion.
6)
Upon receipt of the information and documentation required under 4) above,
the City of Ashland shall pass through all funds received from BPA for
conversions or retrofits performed by Southern Oregon State College.
Reimbursements shall be made according to the reimbursement schedules set
forth in BPA Contract No. DE-MS-79-81BPg0791.
SOSC shall submit to the City each month a lis'ting of the size, number,
location, and cost of lights co~'~verted. This information shall be submitted
by the fifth day of the month following the conversions.
