ORDINANCE NO. 2323
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18.96 OF THE ASHLAND
MUNICIPAL CODE, THE SIGN ORDINANCE, RELATIVE TO
TEMPORARY SIGNS.
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. A new subsection L. shall be added to the Ashland
Municipal Code to read as follows:
"L. Temporary nonilluminated signs not exceeding
16 square feet to advertise charitable fundraising
events for nonprofit and charitable organizations.
Such signs shall not be placed more than 7 days
prior to the event and must be removed within two
days following the event. No more than two such
events may be advertised in this manner per lot
per year."
The foregoing ordinance was first read on the ~~~~ day of
