ORDINANCE NO. 2338
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2052, THE LAND-
USE ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND, AND SECTION
18.12.030 OF THE ASHLAND MU~ICIPAL CODE, TO REZONE
CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM JACKSON COUNTY RR-5 (RURAL
RESIDENTIAL 5 AC. MIN.), TO CITY R-l-10 (SINGLE
FAMILY RESIDENTIAL). (SLUSSER ANNEXATION)
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 10 Ordinance No. 2052 and Section 18.12.030 of the
Ashland Municipal Code, are hereby amended by rezoning from
Jackson County RR-5 (Rural Residential - 5 acre min.) to
City of Ashland R-l-10 (Single Family Residential), the follow-
ing described property, to wit:
Commencing at the Southeast corner of Donation Land Claim No. 45,
Township 39 South, ,Range 1 East, Wi11amette Meridian, Jackson
County, Oregon, thence West 196.68 feet, thence South 0012' West,
2135.70 feet to a 3/4" iron pipe monumenting the Northeast corner
of Kensington Subdivision in the City of Ashland, Jackson County,
Oregon, said Northeast corner further described as being the South-
eas~ corner of tract described in Volume 179, page 206 of the
Deed Records of Jackson County, Oregon, thence West, 400.00 feet
to a 3/411 iron pipe monmnenting the Northwest corner of said
Subdivision, and the true point of beginning; thence along the
West line of said Kensington Subdivision, South 0007' East, 311.65
feet; thence West, 60.00 feet; thence North 45059'55" West, 73.83
feet to a 5/8" iron pin on that certain Boundary Line by agreement
described in Instrument No. 84-13764 of the Official Records of
Jackson County, Oregon; thence North 0007' West, 280.36 feet;
thence East, 113.00 feet to the true point of beginning.
The foregoing ordinance was first read on the 5th day of February,
1985, and duly PASSED and ADOPTED this' /9~day of February, 1985.
