AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2052, THE LAND-USE
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND, AND SECTION 18.12.030 OF
THE j~SHLAND MUNICIPAL CODE TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM
R-1-S (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) TO R-2 (LOW DENSITY MULTI-
FAMI]~Y RESIDENTIAL) (APPLICANT: MICHAEL RARITY)
THE PEO]?LE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 2052 and Section 18.12.030 of the Ashland
Municipal Code are hereby amended by rezoning from R-1-5 (Single
Family Residential) to R-2 (Low Density Multi-family Residential),
the following described land:
Assessors Map 39-1E-14BB tax lots 500, 501, 502, 600, 700,
800, and 900, containing 4.78 acres, more or less.
The foregoing Ordinance was first read on the 20th day of
October" 1987 and duly PASSED and ADOPTED this 3~ day of
NovembeJ;:', 1987.

Notice is hereby given that a PUBLIC HEARING on the following
request with respect to the ASHLAND LAND USE ORDINANCE will be
held before the ASHLAND PLANNING COMMISSION on the 12th day of
August, 1987 at 7:30 p.m. at the ASHLAND CIVIC CENTER, 1175 East
Main Street, Ashland, Oregon. At such Public Hearing, any person
is entitled to be heard.
The CITIIZENS PLANNING ADVISORY COMMITTEE will hold a Public
Hearing and review this request on the 4th day of August, 1987 at
7:30 p.m. at the Community Center, 59 Winburn Way, Ashland,
Oregon.
