ORDINANCE NO. 2520
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND AMENDING TITLE
18 OF THE ASHLAND MUNICIPAL CODE, THE LAND USE
ORDINJ\NCE, RElATING TO CONDmONS ATTACHED TO APPROVALS.
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1
Ordinance No. 2097 is amended by adding a new section, 18.112.085, to
read as follows:
18.112.085 Conditions of Anproval
The Statl' Advisor, the Planning Commission, the Hearings Board, or the City
Council, when acting as the hearing authority, may impose conditions of
approval on any planning action to modify that planning action to comply with
the criteria of approval or to comply with other applicable City ordinances.
Such conditions shall be binding on the approved planning action, and a
violation of a condition imposed by the hearing authority shall be a violation of
Title 18, and subject to all the penalties thereof.
Section 2 ~rhere being an immediate danger to the public health, safety, and general
welfare, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its passage by the City Council and approved by the Mayor.
