AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2052, THE LAND-USE
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND, AND SECTION 18.12.030
OF THE ASHLAND MUNICIPAL CODE, TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY
FRO~[ JACKSON COUNTY RR-5 (RURAL RESIDENTIAL 5 AC. MIN.),
TO CITY C-l (RETAIL COMMERCIAL). (YMCA Annexation)
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The following described real property situated in the
City of Ashland, Jackson County, Oregon, is hereby reclassified
from Jackson County RR-5 (Rural Residential 5 AC Minimum) District
to City of Ashland C-l (Retail Commercial) District:
A tra.ct or parcel of land situated in the Southwest quarter of
Secti.on 11, Township 39 South, Range 1 East of the Willamette
Base and Meridian, Jackson County, Oregon and being more fully
desc:ribed as follows:
Commencing at the section corner common to Sections 11, 12, 13 and
14, said Township and Range; thence North 78045'23" West, 3,435.60
feet to a 5/8 inch iron pin situated in the Westerly right of way
of Tolman Creek Road, as said road has been resurveyed and monu-
mented; thence leaving said road right of way South 89057'36" West,
315.08 feet to a found 3/4 inch pinched top iron pipe for the True
Point of Beginning; thence South 00021'05" West, 126.27 feet to a
5/8 inch iron pin; thence North 89057'36" East, 315..70 feet to a
5/8 inch iron pin situated in the Westerly right of way of Tolman
Creek Road as heretofore described; thence South 00004'09" West along
said Westerly right of way, 126.27 feet to a 5/8 inch iron pin; thence
leaving said right of way, South 89057'36" West, 316.32 feet to a
5/8 inch iron pin; thence South 00021'05" West, 180.66 feet to a
point in the present City Limits Line, which is 230 feet Northerly
of the South boundary line of Section 11, said Township and Range;
thence North 89054'06" West along said City Limits Line and parallel
to said South boundary line of Section 11, 313.9 feet to a point in
that BOUndary Line by Agreement recorded as Document No. 75-15343
of the Official Records of Jackson County, Oregon; thence North 00042'02"
East along said boundary line by agreement, 432.11 feet to a found 5/8
inch iron pin per Recorded Survey No. 5613 and being the Northeast
corner of'that parcel of land first described in that Document as here-
inabove referred to; thence leaving said agreement line North 89053'31"
East 311.27 feet to the point of beginning. Containing 4.021 acres,
more or less.
The foregoing ordinance was first read on the 15th day of December,
