HomeMy WebLinkAbout1848 Rezoning Certain PropertyOrdinance no. 1848 AN ORDINAJ.~CE M-1ENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1361, THE ZONING ORDINA1.~CE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND, TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY FROt-1 R-l, RESIDENTIAL SINGLE FAI1ILY DISTRICT, R-2, RESIDENTIAL - TVJO FAMILY DISTRICT; AND DECLARING AN ENERGENCY. THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 1361 be, and the Sfu~e hereby is, amended to rezone from R-l, Residential - Single Family District, R-2, Residen tial - T\"o Family District the following described property, to-wit: Beginning at a point South 220 West, 141.5 feet from i:he Northwest corner of Jacob Nagner Lot, conveyed by Ellen H. ~1agner to T. E. Hills, Volume 46, Page 394, Deed' I~cords of Jackson County, Oregon said point being on the Southerly side line of Granite Street in the City of l~shland, Oregon, and running thence South 680 East, 101.3 feet; thence South 250 35' vJest, 60 feet; thence North 680 West, 101.3 feet, more or less, to the Southerly side line of said Granite Street; thence North 220 East along said Southerly side line of Granite Street, a distance of 60 feet to the point of beginning, comraonly known as 46 Granite Street, Ashland, Oregon. LESS and EXCEPTING the following: Beginning at a point in the City of Ashland, Jackson County, Oregon, on the Easterly side line of Granite Street, said point being North 770 East, 24.4 feet, distance from the standard monument at the intersection of Granite and Baum . Street in said City; thence North 220 East, 111.5 feet to the true place of beginning; thence North 220 East, 4.5 feet; thence South 680 East, 97 feet; thence North 220 East~ 60 feet; thence South 680 East, 7.2 feet; thence South 250 35' West, 65 feet; thence North 680 West, 101.3 feet to the place of beginning. SECTION 2.
