AN ORDIN~~CE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1361, THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE
CITY OF ASHLAND, AND TITLE 18 OF THE ASHLAND MUNICIPAL CODE RELATIVE
TO ZONE V}\RIANCE FILING FEES, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
THE PEOPL:E: OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND 00 ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 18.64.020 (A) subparts (1), (2) and
(3) of th;e Ashland Municipal Code are hereby deleted.
SECTION 2. Section 18.64.020 (A) of the Ashland Municipal Code
is hereby' amended to add thereto new subparts to read as follows:
"I. For improvement values or project costs under
$5,000.00, twenty-five dollars ($25.00)
2. For improvement values or project costs from
$5,001.00 to $10,000.00, fifty dollars ($50.00)
3. For improvement values or project costs over
$10,000.00, seventy-five dollars ($75.00)."
SECTION 3. That inasmuch as it is deemed necessary for the
public, health, peace and safety of the citizens of the City of Ashland,
that the provisions shall be made immediately operative, it is hereby
declared that an emergency exists and this Ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage by the Council and approval
by the I'4ayor.
The foregoing Ordinance was first read on the~day of
