ORDINANCE NO. 1900
AN ORDINANCE A~ENDING ASHLAND ORDINANCE NO. 1361 AND AMENDING CHAPTER
18 OF THE JlSHLAND MUNICIPAL CODE BY PROVISIONS PERTAINING TO TRAVELER'S
ACCOMMODATIONS.
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The following Section is hereby added to Ashland
Ordinance No. 1361 and to Chapter 18 of the Ashland Municipal Code:
"18.08.482 Travelers' Accommodations. "Travelers' Accommoda-
tion" means any establishment having rooms or apartments rented
or kept for rent to travelers or transients for a charge or fee
paid or to be paid for rental or use of such facilities."
SECTION 2. Ordinance No. 1361 and Section 18.28.030 of the
Ashland Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"C. Trailer Parks; Traveler Accommodations, provided that
any permit granted for travelers' accommodations shall be for a period
not to exceed twelve (12) months, and the applicant shall be required
to present data as to continuing need prior to renewal of such permit
by the Planning Commission. The period during which travelers accommoda-
tions shall be:- allowed shall be specified by the Planning Commiss ion upon
granting such permit."
The foregoing ordinance was first read on the l-/~ day of
