ORDINANCE NO. 1908
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1361, THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE
CITY OF ASHLAND AND SECTION 18.12.030 OF THE ASHLAND MUNICIPAL CODE,
TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM C-3, HEAVY COM~ffiRCIAL TO C-l, COMMER-
CIAL RETAIL.
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 1361 and Section 18.12.030
of the AsfiIand Municipal Code be, and the same hereby is, amended to
rezone from C-3, Commercial-Heavy District, to C-l, Commercial-Retail
District the following described property, to-wit:
Commencing at a point on the southerly line of the EDMONDS SUB-
DIVISION in Section 14, Township 39 South Range 1 East of the
Wil1amette Meridian in Jackson County, Oregon, according to the
official plat thereof, now of record (said point being more parti-
cularly described as being West 30.0 feet South 0010' East 680.9
feet and North 88057' West 381.0 feet from the northeast corner of
thl~ Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest
Quarter of said Section 14), thence South 0010' East 143.0 feet,
thl~nce South 88057' East 173.0 feet to the true point of begin-
ning, being the northwest corner of tract described in Volume 468,
page 225 of the Deed Records of Jackson County, Oregon; thence
North 88057' West 230.0 feet; thence South 0010' East 200.0 feet;
thl~nce South 88 57' East 230.0 feet, more or less, to the west
line of said tract described in Volume 468 page 225, said Deed
Reeords; thence North along said line 200.0 feet, more or less,
to the true point of beginning.
