ORDINANCE NO. 1925
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1361, THE ZONING ORDIN-
ANCE CF THE CITY OF ASHLAND AND SECTION 18.12.030 OF THE
ASHLAND MUNICIPAL CODE, TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM R-F:B-200
RESIDENTIAL-FARM DISTRICT, TO R-l :B-lO, RESIDENTIAL.....SINGLE
FAMILY DISTRICT; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 1361 and Section 18.12.030
of the Ashland Municipal Code be, and the same hereby is, amended
to rezone from R.....F:B-200, Residential-Farm District, to R-l:B-lO
Residential-Single family District the following described prop.....
erty, to-wit:
Beginning at a point on the west side line of Granite Street,
in the City of Ashland, Jackson County, Oregon, from which the
quarter section corner between Sections 8 and 9 in Township 39
South of Range 1 East of the Willamette Meridian in Jackson
County, Oregon, bears north 81 3' east 397.55 feet; thence west
416.5 feet; thence north 16.50 feet; thE:nce west 444.70 feet;
thence south 276.50 feet; thence east 634.25 feet; thence north
4 45' west 244.50 feet; thence east 250 feet to the west line
of Granite Street; thence north 4 45' west along the west side
line of Granite Street 16.50 feet to the place of beginning.
SECTION 2. It is hereby adjudged and declared that the existing
conditions a.re sucr.. that this Ordinance is necessary for the preserva-
tion of the public health and safety of the people of the City of Ashland
and that an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this Ordinance
shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval by the Mayor.
The foregoing ordinance was first read on the 3rd day of May, 1977, and
duly PASSED and ADOPTED this /~ay of ~ ' 1977.
