PERMANENT BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN EASEMENT FOR CITY OF ASHLAND
1. Grant of easement. The above named Grantors grant to the City of Ashland, Oregon,
"Grantee," a perpetual non-exclusive easement in gross to construct, reconstruct, install, use,
operate, inspect, repair, maintain and remove and replace a public bicycle and pedestrian
("multi-use") trail, including any necessary retaining walls, fences or structures associated with
path construction across, along and upon the real property described below and fur1her referred
to in this easement agreement as the "easement area."
The easement area is located in Jackson County, Oregon, and is described on the attached
Exhibit A.
2. Access to Easement Area. Grantee, its agents, independent contractors and invitees shall
have the right of ingress and egress to the easement area for the purposes connected with this
easement.
3. Prior Encumbrances. This easement is granted subject to all prior easements or
encumbrances of record.

PUBLIC ACCESS EASEMENT FOR MULTI USE PATH
A strip of land, lying across a portion of the Southeast Quarter of Section 11 in Township
39 South, Range 1 East of the Willamette Meridian in Jackson County, Oregon-and being
more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the most southerly comer of that certain parcel of land described in
Document No. 97-24726, Official Records, Jackson County, Oregon, from which the
comer common to Sections 11, 12, 13 and 14 of said Township and Range bears South
150 22' 45" East, 400.60 feet; thence along the southeasterly line of said parce:l, North
500 28' 00" East, 461.91 feet to the most easterly comer of said parcel; thence along the
northeasterly line of said parcel, North 390 32' 00" West, 181.25 feet to the Point of
Beginning; thence South 750 29' 08" West, 67.99 feet to the northwesterly line of said
parcel; thence along said northwesterly line, North 500 28' 00" East, 61.61 feet to the
most northerly comer of said parcel; thence South390 32' 00" East, 28.75 feet to the
Point of Beginning.
