Action: Structure will not be increased to greater than 3600 square feet as determined by the Oregon
Fire Code without an alternative to the existing fine protection. Oregon Fire Code 2003 Appendix B
requires fire flow of 1750 gpm or greater for structures greater than 3600 square feet. Fire flow
available in the Billings Ranch subdivision is less than 1750gpm. Square footage of all areas under
the roof including, but not limited to living spacE~, garage, storage, basement, covered decks and
porches are used to determine square footage. Any futur~onstruction must meet fire c:ode
