RESOLUTION NO. 89- cJ.s-
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF TAXICAB
CERTIFICATES FROM ASHLAND TAXI CO. TO CRAIG S.
HOLLINSWORTH PURSUANT TO ASHLAND MUNICIPAL CODE,
CHAPTER 6.28.
WHEREAS, the Ashland Municipal Code requires the consent of the City
Council before any taxicab certificate may be sold, assigned,
mortgaged or otherwise transferred; and
WHEREAS, the City Council may attach conditions with respect to the
transfer which it believes are in the public interest.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
SECTION 1. The transfer of the three (3) taxicab certificates
currently issued to Dennis E. Perkins, dba Ashland Taxi Company, to
Craig S. Hollinsworth is hereby approved, subject to the following
conditions:
a. That a certificate of insurance be filed with the City prior
to the effective date of the transfer as required by Sec.
6.28.120.
b. That the proposed rates be filed with the City Recorder as
required by Sec. 6.28.140.
c. That a satisfactory background investigation report is
received from the Chief of Police.
The foregoing Resolution was READ and DULY ADOPTED at a regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of Ashland on the 21st day of
