RESOLUTION NO. 89-~1
A RESOLUTION DETERMINING THE NECESSITY FOR THE
APPROPRIATION OF CERTAIN LAND FOR PUBLIC USE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF ASHLAND, as follows:
SECTION 1. The land described in Exhibit "A", which is attached
hereto and incorporated herein is hereby appropriated for the
purpose of constructing, installing and maintaining a public
parking lot and related purposes, all in the City of Ashland,
Oregon. Fee title to the property is required.
SECTION 2. It is further determined that the appropriation of
the above described real property is reasonably necessary for the
installation, construction and maintenance of a public parking
lot in the City of Ashland.
The foregoing Resolution was READ and DULY ADOPTED at a regular
meetinq of the City Council of the City of Ashland on the ~~
day of July, 1989.

DESCRIPTION
Commencing at a bronze disc in case found monument:Lng the
centerline intersections of Second Street and East Main Street in
the city of Ashland, Jackson County, Oregon; thence Nort.h 150
48'47" East, along the centerline of said Second Street, 263.64
feet; thence leaving said centerline North 74011'13" West, 35.00
feet to the Westerly right of way line of said Second S1:reet for
the True Point of Beginning; thence leaving said right ()f way
line North 52009'59" West, 99.35 feet; thence North 35025'15"
East (deed record N35023'E) 91.47 feet to the Southerly right of
way line of Lithia Way, formerly known as "C" Street; thence
along said Southerly right of way line being an arc of Cl 686.20
foot radius curve (the long chord of which bears South ~)70 48' 31"
East, 64.12 feet) a distance of 64.14 feet to the Westerly right
of way line said Second Street; thence South 15048'47" West along
said Westerly line 105.03 feet to the Point of Beginnin9,
containing 7786 square feet more or less.
Subject to a 5 foot wide slope easement along the Northerly
boundary granted to the State of Oregon.
