A G R E E MEN T
THIS AGREEMENT is made ana entered into thiSrl8~ay of
April, 1981, by and between the State of Oregon, acting by and
through the State Board of Higher Edu=ation on behalf of
Southern Oregon State College, hereinafter, COLLEGE, and the
CitY5Jf Ashland Planning Depattment, Ashla:1d, Oregon, herein-

WHEREAS, the CITY desires to have written for its Comprehen-
sive Plan a section entitled gnergy Ele~ent, and
WHEREAS, the CITY has gathered the data necessary to write
such section, and
WHEREAS, the COLLEGE, through its So~thern Oregon Regional
Services Institute, has available personnel to write such section,
NOW, THEREFORE, and in consideration or these premises herein
contained, and all of the conditions, obligations and commitments
mutually and respectively called for:
1. The COLLEGE shall:
a. Submit a preliminary draf~ of the Energy Element
section on or before May 8, 1981.
b. Submit a final copy of the section on or before
June 30, 1981.
2. The CITY shall:
a. Submit payment of one-half of the total payment of
$2,000, a sum of $1,000, within 1'0 days of receipt of the pre-
liminary draft.
b. Submit payment of the remaincer of the total sum
of $2,000, an additional $1,000, within 10 days of receipt of the
final copy of the section.
Payments shall be made to the Business Office at the COLLEGE.
IT WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this
agreement to be executed by their duly appointed and authorized
officers.
