EASEMENT
KNOW ALL MEN BY TIIESE PRESENTS, Tha t Edwin E. Pearson. Frances P. Morse.
Louise R. Hopkins
, Gr9ntors, do hereby give and grant unto the
STATE OF OREGON, by and through its DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, Highway Division,
and the CITY OF ASHLAND, a municipal corporation of the State of Oregon, Grantees, a
permanent right, license, and easement for the purpose of installing, operating, and
maintaining a traffic counter over and across the real property described on attached
"Exhibit A", which by reference is made a part of this easement. ,
"
Grantees, their agents or employees, shall have the right to' go upon ~~d real
, property for the purpose of installing, maintaining, and operatin~ said traffic
counter for bicycles traveling on the adjoining bicycle trail as well as vehicle
traffic on the state highway.
Grantees in the installation and maintenance of said traffic counter will take
precautions not to damage shrubbery and other improvements on Grantor's property.
No monetary consideration is being received by Grantors for this'easement.

EXHIBIT A
Commencing at the Southeast corner of Lot 11, Block 14 of
the City of Ashland, Jackson County, Oregon, according to
the official plat adopted November 5, 1888; thence Northerly
along the Westerly right of way of North Main Street, 6.0
feet; thence Westerly at right angles to said right of way,
6.0 feet; thence SOutherly, 6.5 feet to a point on the
Northerly right of way of an alley being Westerly 6.0 feet
from said SOutheast corner of said Lot; thence Easterly
along said right of way 6.0 feet to the point of beginning.
