HomeMy WebLinkAbout1999-12 Dogwood Way LIDRESOLUTION NO. 99- A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR ASSESSMENT TO BE CHARGED AGAINST LOT 129 WITHIN THE DOGWOOD WAY LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 75 THE CITY OF ASHLAND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The City Council having received proposed assessments to be charged against lot 129 within the Dogwood Way Local Improvement District, orders that a public heating be held to consider written objections to this assessment at 7:00 p.m., March 2, 1999, in the City of Ashland, City Council Chambers at 1175 East Main Street. The City recorder is directed to mail the attached notice of the proposed assessment to the owner of the lot to be assessed. This resolution was read by title only in accordance with Ashland Municipal Code 2.04.090 duly PASSED and ADOPTED this/6' day of '~'~, 1999. ' Barbara M. Please take notice that the Ashland City Council will hold a public hearing to consider objections to the proposed assessments for the assessment district described above. The proposed assessments, a description (by map and tax lot) of the property to be assessed and the name of the property owner are attached to this notice. The public hearing will be held at: 7:00 PM, March 2, 1999 Council Chambers 1175 East Main Street Ashland OR 97520 The Ashland Municipal Code requires that any objections that are filed must be in writing and must state the specific grounds for objection. Objections must be received by: 5:00 PM; Friday, February 26, 1999 and may be delivered or mailed to the: City Recorder Ashland City Hall 20 E. Main Street Ashland OR 97520 Please note that assessments may be modified by the Council and will be levied by the Council after the hearing, will be charged against the property, and will be immediately payable in full or in installments (if applicable) following the levy.
