Dear Mayor John Morrison,
It is with much sadness that I must resign my position on the Ashland Historic Commission effective December I,
2006. With my many home and work responsibilities I find it difficult to meet the requirements of an active
commissioner.
My seven plus years on the Commission have been very enjoyable, educational and rewarding; hopefully I have
contributed to the preservation of Ashland's historic architecture and culture. One of the wonderful characteristics
of this Commission is the varied disciplines- historic, preservation and architectural- that its members represent.
This diversity is a strength to the Commission and I hope my replacement is selected with this aspect in mind.
