WARRANTY DEED
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, that ASHLAND LODGE NO.23,
A.F. and A.M.
a corporation duly organized
and existing under the laws of the State of Oregon , herein-
after called grantor, in consideration of certain improve-
ments to be i nsta lied by the grantee and no

to grantor paid, does hereby grant, bargain, sell and convey unto
CITY OF ASHLAND, a municipal corporation of the State of Oregon,
hereinafter ca1 led grantee and grantee's heirs, successors and
assigns, that certain real property, with the tenements, hered-
itaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or appertaining,
situated in the County of Jackson, and State of Oregon, described
as follows, to-wit:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 8, of Block
in the City of Ashland, Jackson County, Oregon;
thence South 860 30' West, 125.30 feet to the true
point of beginning; thence continue South 860 301
West, 48.00 feet; thence North 30 33' West, 52.50
feet; thence North 860 301 East, 62.00 feet; thence
South 30 33' East, 4.00 feet; thence South 860 30'
West, 14.00 feet; thence South 30 331 East, 48.50
feet to the true point of beginning.
To Have and to Hold the above described and granted premises
unto the said grantee and grantee's heirs, successors and assigns
forever.
And said grantor hereby covenants to and with said grantee
and grantee's heirs, successors and assigns, that grantor is
lawfully seized in fee simple of the above granted premises, free
from all encumbrances and that grantor will warrant and forever
defend the above granted premises and every part and parcel thereof
against the lawful claims and demands of all persons whomsoever.
The true and actual consideration for this conveyance is:
