PERMANENT PEDESTRIAN EASEMENT FOR CITY OF ASHLAND
1. Grant of easement. The above named Grantor grants to the City of Ashland, Oregon,
"Grantee," a perpetual non-exclusive easement in gross to construct, reconstruct,
install, use, operate, inspect, repair, maintain and remove and replace a public
pedestrian easement and sidewalk across, along and upon the real property described
below and further referred to in this easement agreement as the "easement area."
The easement area is located in Jackson County, Oregon and is described on the
attached Exhibit A.
2. Use of surface. Grantor s~all have the right to use the easement area for all purposes
not inconsistent with the uses and purposes of the property, provided that Grantor does
not build or erect any structure upon the easement area without the prior written
consent of Grantee.
3. Prior Encumbrances. This easement is granted subject to all prior easements or
encumbrances of record.

A strip ofland, 6.00 feet in width, for pedestrian access easement purposes, more
particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at the Southwest comer of Parcel 2 of land partition recorded
September 24, 1990 as Partition Plat No. P-95-l990 of "Record of Partition Plats" in
Jackson County, Oregon and is on file in the office of the Jackson County Surveyor as
No. 12195; thence along the northerly right-of-way line of the relocated Green Springs
Highway as described in Instrument No. 79-05258, official records of said Jackson
County, North 89024'22" West 219.03 feet; thence leaving said right-of-way line, North
00013'26" West 6.00 feet; thence along a line parallel with and 6.00 feet distant from,
when measured perpendicular to the aforesaid northerly right-of-way line, South
89024'22" East 219.03 feet to the west line of the aforesaid Parcel 2; thence along said
west line, South 00016'14" East 6.00 feet to the point of beginning.
