INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT
PARTIES
1. City of Ashland, by and through its Fire Department
20 East Main Street, Ashland, Oregon 97520; and
2. Tollman, LLC, hereinafter "Property Owner"
625 B Street, Ashland, OR 97520
PREMISES:
1. Ashland Fire Department is sponsoring a RlT and Firefighter Survival Training on March 8, 9,
10,15,16,19,2007.
2. Owner of the property at 2265 Ashland Street, commonly known as Ashland Pet Center has
offered use of the premises for the training.
3. Property owner is concerned about the increased liability that could arise by having participants
on the property.
4. The City of Ashland, by and through its Fire Department is willing to provide limited liability
protection to Property Owner in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth herein.
NOW THEREFORE, THE PARTIES AGREE:
1. Property Owner will allow the Ashland Fire Department to hold the RIT and Firefighter
Survival Training at 2265 Ashland Street, Ashland, Oregon on March 8,9, 10, 15, 16, 19,2007
. between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm on each day of the training. Ashland Fire Department
will set up for the training on March 7, 2007 between the hours of 8: 00 am and
5 :00 pm.
2. Ashland Fire Department agrees, to the extent of the liability limits set forth in the Oregon Tort
Claims Act, ORS 30.265, et seq, and except for Property Owner"s willful, intentional or grossly
negligent acts, to indemnify and defend and hold harmless, Property Owner from liability that
may arise for personal injury, illness, death or property damage suffered by participants arising
from or related to their participation in the RIT and Firefighter Survival Training.
