AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE DOWNTOWN PARKING DISTRICT LIMITS
BY ADDING WATER STREET AND WINBURN WAY; AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY.
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. section 11.30.010(A) of the Ashland Municipal Code shall
be amended by adding thereto the following streets:
"Water Street between Lithia Way and N. Main
Street. Winburn Way between the Plaza and Calle
Guanajuato."
SECTION 2. section 11.30.010(A) of the Ashland Municipal Code shall
be amended by changing the limits of restricted parking on Third
Street as follows:
"Third Street between East Main Street and Lithia
Way."
SECTION 3. That inasmuch as the downtown parking restrictions are
currently in effect, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this
ordinance shall become effective following its second reading and
approval by the Mayor.
The foregoing ordinance was first read on the, 6th day of June, 1989,
and duly PASSED and ADOPTED this 20th day of June, 1989.
