Kooser further stated that r~airs to sidewalks had not been
made by many of the pr~perty owners who had been. notified to do so.

with the request and that the names o~ these property owners be
n.pp11ed to 00081 contraotors in order that they might solicit the
work of repairing these sidewalks. Seoonded by Blake. Carried.
. Realty: The Realty Committee's report on the oontemplated ohange
in the handling ot oharges for the oare of Cemetery lots was presented
oy Ingle. These ehanges oonsisted ehiefly in applying payments made on
annual care to perpetual upkeepme.nt agreements. the purchasing of unused
an! unwanted grave spaces from owners who had not taken out perpetual
"plteep and applying the price thereof on perpetual upkeep of those
spaces whicth were oocupied and .th~ hiring of some oompetent person ",0
oontaot the oWners and arrange the details on a oommission basis. It

The painiing of t18 Carter Fountain on the :plaza was discussed ani
upon motion by Blake. seoon'ed by Swedenburg the Oity Superintenden:t; was
authorized to haveplMt!SKk done. Carried.
The tire-craoker-Twas discussed anI. the letter from the Ohief of
Polioe making his reoommendations conoerning the :petition was read. It
was mOTed by Koo'zer and seoonded by Applewhite that. the petition be la14
on the table. Following more diaoussion, it was moved 'jat the praTious
motion be rescinded and that the sale and discharge of fire-orack..8
