Hansen, Ingle Koozer. Absents None Minu-tes of the previous meeting were read and approved as read. Monthly reports of the Electric. Street and Water Departments, Librarian and. City Recorder were read, accepted and ordered placed on file. The report of the Park Board was received and filed. Applications for the following building permits were presented: No. 26. To erect frame residence at 175 Harrison Street at an approx~nate cost of $1198.00 by Philip Wendt. No. Zl. To reline Ladies Rest Room at 237 East Main Street at an approximate oost of $100.00 by S. E. Moore. No. 28. To erect new dwelling at corner of Idaho and Holly Streets at an approximate 00st of $4QOtQOO by E. O. Smith, oontractor(Hubert Bently home) No. 29. To erect new garage on the Boulevard beyond the Rush Service Station at an approximate cost of $4500.00 by C. N. Caton. It was moved by Ingle and seconded by Blak e that the permits be granted subjeot to building regulations. Carried. An invitation to attend a harvest home dinner by the Women's Civio Club on Nov.4th was read and upon metion by Koozer, seconded by Hansen was accepted by the Council. A letter from the World War Veteran's State Aid Commission concerning the lien against the Wm Grenbemer property on Oak Street was read and referred to the City Attorney ani Cii;y Superintenfent for report. Committee Reports: Electric and Water: The transfer of deposits to delinquent accounts totalling $61.75 ani adjustments made to active consumers accounts toi:ia.lling $36.70 were upon motion by Koozer, seconded by Applewhite. approved. Biegel reported bids received on i;he new pickup for the Electric Depar~ent as follows: Claycomb Motor Co~ Ford Pickup. $667.00 less trade in~$127.00 or $540.00 Kay Chevrolet Co. Chevrolet Piokup $704.00 less trade "in $194.00 or $510.00 It was moved by Blake and seconded by Applewhite that the bid of the Chevrolet be accepted. Roll call was ordered on the motion, the vote being. Ayes: Blake~ I~le, Crandall, Hansen, Koozer, Applewhite. Carried. Seconded by Blake. Carried. Cemetery: The charge of $5.00 for the use of the lowering device by the sexton when: serving at Talent was authorized upon motion by Crandall, seoonded by Blake and carried. Free list. Upon motion by Applewhite~ seconded by Blake~ Marie Best and Mrs. James Fewell ~re placed on the free list for light and water to December 31, 1937. Carried.
