The council met in regular session at 1.30 P. M. this date. Present: Mayor Wiley.
Councilmen Applewhite, Blake, Crandall" Hansen, Ingle, Koozer. Absent: None
The minutes of the previous meeting were and approved as read.
Bills amounting "to $8558.83 were read as 1;0 total emoun"t ctnly" lIame having Deen
oked by the various departments, comrni ttees and finance committee and upon motion by
Blake and seconded by Koozer and following a UIl.8Illimous roll .all were ordered paid.
Monthly reports of the Cit,y Judge and City Dump Ground were read, accepte~ and order
ed placed on file.
A special repprt from the Li thia Springs Committee was read and upon motion by
Ko()zer. aeoonded by Blake, the receip"t of the report was aoknowledged and the committee
thanked for its suggestions and reoommendations and the report placed on file. Carried.
Baughman, Fire Chie' reported on "the numbering <;>f houses on Mountain Avenueo He
also stated that Willow, Stanley e~ Oberlin streets were really a continuation of the
same s"treet.
The corner of East Main Street and Siskiyou Boulevard was disoussed, the same
being under discussion dme to the proposed sale of the property to a private party for
service station purposes. The lighting and cutting of the cornet were considered. It
was moved by Ingle and seconded by Hansen that the matter be referred to the Realty
Committee, Street Committee, City Attorney and City Superintendent with power to aot.
and the Mayor and Recorder authorized to execute the neeessa~ papers for the sale of
the point of land. Carried.
Special Committee: BlakB read a letter he had received from G. S. Bu~ler concern--
ing the sale of ~1e Camps Building. Biegel reported that the building would require an
18 inch ramp and a 6 inch concrete floor to fit it for fire department purposes which
he estimated at $l250 for the first floor. It was reported that the roof of tile present
fire hall leaked badly and that it was due ,possibly to the thick concrete wall which
waw excessively heavy. On ~tion by Koozer, secondedP.y. H~sen and car~ied, the conorete

Hos1>ital: On motion by Ingle, seoonded by_Koozer.and carried, $165.00f was author-
ized ~ be spent for hospital beds.
Bids on pipe being set for opehing on November 9th, it was moved by Blake and
seoonded by Koozer that the oouncil adjourn to meet at 5 :00 P ~,. M. November 9th for the
opening of bids for pipe and fittings. Carriedo
