The Council met in regular session at 7:30 P. M. this date. Present;
Mayor Wiley, Councilmen Applewhite, Carson, Grandall, Delsman, Koozer,
Tayler. Absent; None.
lvlinutes of' the previous meeting were read and. approved as read.
The monthly report for the City Judge for the month of September was
read, accepted and ordered placed on file.
Bills ~nounting to $9,958.36 were read as to total amount only, same
having been OKted by the various departments, committees and. finance com-
mittee and upon motion by Ap~lewhite, seconded by Koozer ~ld following a ..
unanimous roll call were ordered paid.
Committee Re~orts:
Fire: Delsman reported that 300 feet of fire hose had been purchased,
100 feet thru the League of Oregon Cities and 100 feet each from the
other bidderso
Free List: The name of Mrs. Standifird who was unable to get her
check before the 15th of the month and was penalized each month was men-
tioned and the matter was referred for further investigation.
'1'he matter of fire insurance was discussed ancl the survey was upon
motion by Tayler referred to a cOIT@ittee for study. Seconded and carried.
rrhe Mayer named the following oommi ttee as an Insurance Gommi ttee;
Keozer, Carson, Applewhite.
On motion, the Council adjourned to meet at the oall of the lViayor.
