The Council met in regular session at 1f30 P. M. this date. Presents Kayor
Wiley, Councilmer. Applewhite, Crandall, Daugherty, Koozer. Tayler, Woodell. Absent:
None.

The application of Ashland Lodg~ B. P. O. E. #944 for a club lioense in place of
their previcus lic~nse from the State Liquor Controll COlnmission was approved upon

was a member of the Medford Planning Corr.mission would also be present.
Air Portl Report on tr~ proposed air port site aocross Bear Creek and options
for the Lucas property were disoussed.
Li this. Water: The possibili ty of selling lithia \.v~d;er to a COl1Cerll in Los Angeles
was discussed and the necessity of sending representatives of the city to Los Angeles
for a conference r~sulted in a motion by Keezer. seconded by Tayler that money be
appropriated fccr the Mayor to appoint a delegate arld send 'to Los Angeles when and if
necessary. Carried.
Sewage Disposal: Koozer reported en the problem he waG ha",,'1.ng as Manager of the
Bagley Canning Company with the disposal of' ce.nnelJ' waste to the disposal plant. H.
stated th.at he 'MlS bring out a grinder 'to solve this problem but that until the test

the second reading and adopted as read, but following further disoussion, it was moved
by Tayler andseconded by Appl~hite that its adoption be reconside~d. Carried. It was
then moved that it be laid on the table, upon motion by Koozer, seconded by Crandall
