The Council met in regular session at '1:30 P. M. this date. Present: lIayor
Wiley, Cotmcilmen Applewhite, Daugherty. Koozer.. tayler, Woodell. Absent: Counoilman
Crandall.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as read.
Ilonthly reports of the Eleotric, Street and Water Departments and City Recorder
were read, aocepted anderdered placed on file.
The following applications for building permi ta were presentedl
No. 69, To erect dwelling and garage on Fern Street at an appro:rlmate cost of
$4,700.00 by Earl Leever.
No. 701 To ereot dwelling and garage on lots 45 and 46 of Eureke Addition on
EmerioJ.c Avenue at an approxilm te oost ot $800.0\) by Thom Firstbrook.

the City Recorder for s'tudy.

Firel Bids for ~~e foundation for the fire station were set tor &ep.t. 2nd.
- Thw purchase of 300 feet of fire hose was reported.
Waters The sewer at 44 Garfield- was discussed and the matter referred to the
Board of Health upon motion by Koozer. seoonded and oarriedo
Realty: Cemetery. It was reported that the cemetery reoords were oompleted up to
the letter N.
The air port was discussed further.
The oalling for estimates for the budget for the half pear Jan-June, 1942 was
set for Sept. L, 1941.
On motion, the Council adjourned to meet at the call ot the Mayor I
