The Council met in regular session at 7:30 P. M. this date. Present: Mayor Wiley..
Councilmen Applewhite, Orandall, Daugherty, Koozer, Woodell. Absent.: Cotmoilman Tayler.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as read.
The monthly report of the City Judge was read, acoepted and ordered placed on file.
Bills amounting to $13.617.22 were read as to total amount only" same having been
oked by the various departments~ commdttees and finance committee and were ordered paid.
upon motion by Koozer, seconded by Daugherty and carried.
Renewal of applications to the Oregon State Liquor Control Commission for a license
by the Elk's Club, Clinger, and the Safeway Stores was approved upon motion by Crandall,
seconded by Daugherty and carried. '
A petition signed by three residents as~ed that a street light on a new pole be in-
s~alled on Koun-tain ,A~'l\~!3~:'Rst ~f the Dr. Haines residence and same was referred to the

No. 99: Xo remodel dwelling at 208 Hargadine Street at an approximate cost of $3000.

No. 100: To erect garage at 83 Granite Street at an approximate cost of $800.00 by
Kroeger and Lahr.
No. 101: To erect and remodel dwelling and garage at 1485 Boulevard at an approxima-
te oost of $300.00 by G. F. Lindsay.
No. 102: To remodel dwelling at 371 Gresham S"tireet at an approximate cost of $400.
by Frances M. Schadler.
No. 103: To erect garage ~e at 1372 Iowa Street at an approximate cost of $400.
by A. Wenker.
It was moved by Crandall. and seconded by Woodell that the permits be granted.Carried
Committee Reports: . Realty: Woodell reported on the hospital laboratory and upon
motion by Koozer, seconded by Daugherty further action on the matter was postponed indef-
initely Carried. It was reported that the pipe in the chimney at the hospital required
fixing.
The Ashland Golf Club agreement for t he purchase and rental of equipment was read
and following discussion it was moved by Xoozer and seconded by Woodell that the contract
be executed. Cantied.
Upon motion by Woodell, secpnded by Daugher"tiy" bids for thE} purchase of forms for
thw- new Burroughs Billing maohine was authorized. Carried.
On motion" the Council adjourned to meet at the call of the Mayor.
