The Coun.cil met in regular session at 7:30 P. M. this date. Present: Mayor Wiley,
Councilmen Applewhi te ~ Daugherty ~ Koo zer" Putman.. Redford.. Selby. Absent: None
The minutes of the previius meeting were read and approved as read.
Monthly reports of the Electric" Street and Water Departments and City Recorder
were read, accepted and ordered placed on file.
The following application for a building permit was presented:
No.4: To build addition to a. warehouse at 842 Boulevard at an approxinate cost
of $1.500.00 by E. H. McGee.

Finance: The cancellation of ii6.~OO 00 in Asp~and Bonds" to be replaced by
u. S. Government Bonds and the purchase of $22,,000.00 in Government Bonds/was approved
upon motion by Koozer" seconded by Putman and carried.
Real ty: Hospital: The rere.iring of the chimney at the hospital -was a.uthorized
to be done by Sup' t Biegel, upon motion by Redford, Seconded by Putman and Carried.
The Newbern Gas-Ice Corp2ration status wa~discussed further.
On motion, the Council adjourned to meet at the call of the Mayorl
