A delegation ot people residing near the Van Prooyen.Dairy on North Main Street , was present and the Mayor called upon aome of them. to tell the Council the purpose of their visit. Mrs. A. H. Stephens. 595 North Jlain Street responded. protesting against the dairy whioh they claimed was very Wlsani tary and caused a s'tench which was almost unbearableo It -. moved by Daugherty and seCO:=4d by Redford that the Council and Board of Heal'th visit the Van Prooyen Dairy and '.8 a personal investiga'tion as to 'the actual Conditions. It was moved by Merrill and seconded by Redford that 'hhe Ci -ty Superintendent contract 'to purchase the required material and install the line. Carried. The following applications tor building perm! ts were presented. No. 10: To remodel dwelling at 448 Helman street at an approximate cost of .200.00 by Charles G. Broili.
