Weitzel. Absent: Counoilman Noslero The minutes of the previous meeting were read and awroved as read. Monthly reports of the Eleotric am Street Departutnts and City Judge were read. accepted and ordered plaoed on file. Bills amounting to .38,333.82 were read as to total amount only. same haviN been oked by the various departments. committees and finanoe committee and were ordered paid. A letter from the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company showing a total groa. reoeipts tor the year 1946 as $38.766.39 was read. The City's franchise was .275.33, being 2% of the above amount less .500000 tree exchange service. An applioation tor endors8tlent of Fred Buehling to the State Liquor Control Commis. sion tor' a license was approved upon JaotioD by Daugherty. seconded by Weitzel and carried. Building permits Drabered from 15 to 28 inclusive were approved upon .m.otion by Wei tzel. .econded by Daugherty ani carried. Total of permits. '30.750000 A letter from the State Highway oommission ooncerning the State Tax Street Funds was read. but no action taken. as same referred to accumulation of 1947 funds tor future use. Upon motion by Daugherty. seconded by Redford. J. A. Langtry was given the insurance for City liability. ~rovided the poliey issued _t the terms required.. Upon the suggestion of Fisohborn. the laying of a six inch water main tor the aa.-mflls was discussed.
